United Utilities film at Manchester location

The ‘talking fish’ was one of our most amusing briefs from The Gate Films. They were creating TV idents for United Utilities to go either side of Granada Weather. They needed a kitchen in Manchester where they could install a fish tank, which would be the main focus of the shot, with the ‘owners’ completing every day tasks in the background.

Location 3239M was chosen for this shoot and they had to look after the fish for a few nights ahead of the shoot so that the fish were settled and camera ready for their big moment!
